Worm Testing

The management and treatment of worms for a livestock enterprise is critical in its success. Worm egg counts are an accurate method of checking the worm status of a mob or individual animals. With this in mind TFS launched a worm initiative in late 2019 that provides members with $310 of free worm testing through Dawbuts Animal Health.

In an article Matt Playford from Dawbuts wrote for TFS members in February 2020, he indicated that wet, warm conditions such as what some of the TFS area has experienced, are favorable for the swift development of high worm burdens in sheep and cattle.
